Hi, I’m Claudia
Friends call me Clouds and Cloud 9 is my baby!
I am an experienced registered nurse with a passion for appearance medicine. I am an English girl who married a kiwi boy and together we have three sons. I am very lucky to be able to run my business from home and this allows for a discreet, flexible and personal service here in rural Clive.
I began nursing to fulfil a desire to help & care for people, to do what I could to make a difference. This has evolved over the past ten years to focussing exclusively on cosmetic nursing which I find incredibly rewarding.
Although no longer “life-saving”, the thrill I get from helping people feel more confident in themselves or boosting their self-esteem is unsurpassed. I feel extremely privileged to be able to provide services that can feel both empowering and rejuvenating to my clients.
At Cloud 9 I like to get to know my clients. I listen, I care, I’m interested in what you want, and we work together to achieve the best outcome. I believe in small, natural adjustments to preserve and enhance your natural gorgeousness! Treatments are not generic, every treatment is unique and tailored towards your goals.
My experience
I am one of the first independent injectors in Hawke’s Bay.
I have been nursing for 20 years (having started my career in a London Emergency department). In 2009 I began working as a practice nurse and then introduced cosmetic nursing alongside this initially until eventually it became my sole focus.
I started Cloud 9 Aesthetics in 2017, having been trained by a cosmetic doctor with 30 years experience and working alongside him for 5 years. This basically provided me with a comprehensive apprenticeship for which I feel very grateful.
I work as a ‘Cosmetic Injector’ full time specialising in anti-wrinkle treatments (botulinum toxin A) and dermal fillers. This is such an evolving & exciting area of medicine and as such I keep up to date with latest developments with as many educational opportunities as possible.
All cosmetic injectable treatments are with me, so consistency, care and quality are guaranteed.

At Cloud 9, our process is about building trusting relationships to make people feel confident in themselves and feel their best!
The first question I will always ask when you embark on a journey with Cloud-9 is… What can I help YOU change to make YOU feel good? Because how you look on the outside can affect how you feel on the inside.
I will not be dictating treatments or telling you what you need. It is about what you want to address in order to feel beautiful and confident, I can then advise the best treatments to help you achieve that. Your goals are my goals!
Generally most treatments aim to soften the signs of ageing with a subtle and natural approach. This may involve advanced facials, adding small amounts of filler to replace the volume we lose as we age or anti-wrinkle injectables.
Our Clinic
We are based in rural Clive, a short drive from Napier and Hastings.
My home clinic is set amongst beautiful, relaxing surroundings, next to the Clive River. Space and privacy are guaranteed, as is easy parking, no wait times or delays and unhurried, personalised service!
